Time flies not so fast, and in a blink of an eye it is the season of eight-treasure porridge. After Laba, I have to face this reality.
I hope happy times can pass more slowly. I found out all the miscellaneous grains in the house, and now I remembered that some miscellaneous grains were not boiled in because of the rush, and at night, and there were more than eight ingredients. I cooked the eight-treasure porridge in the evening and prepared to serve three bites to the family the next day, no more, no less, one and a half bowl per person. For breakfast, I had a good time.

Ingredients

Eight Treasure Congee

1. Prepare the ingredients: red dates, yam beans, peanuts. The weight is prepared according to personal circumstances, and the materials can also be prepared according to personal circumstances. (The yam beans I made are cooked. After peeling them, cook them together)

2. Millet, rice and black rice are spare. Separate the ones that are resistant to cooking and those that are not.

3. Red beans, mung beans and soybeans are reserved. This type is difficult to cook and needs to be soaked in advance. If possible, soak it for three or four hours in advance. If not, it is best to soak it for half an hour in advance.

4. Raisins, Citrus, and Lily are set aside. Soak the raisins in mud and sand before cooking.

5. I use a pressure cooker, put the beans in it and cook.

6. About half an hour, put other ingredients in and cook for about half an hour. Finally, put the brown sugar (you can also use brown sugar or white sugar), and wait for it to melt and serve it in a bowl.

Tips:

1. Materials and weights can be prepared according to personal circumstances. I still have corn chopped and lotus seeds. I forgot to cook them.
2. It is best to soak the ingredients like beans about four hours in advance before cooking.
3. When cooking, put hard-to-cook beans, especially soybeans and red beans. Finally put the easy-cooked ones. Don't put too many beans, otherwise, the taste will not be very good.
