Eight Treasure Rice with Blood Glutinous Rice

Wash the blood glutinous rice and soak it in cold water for four or five hours

Put it in a pot and steam for an hour

Stir in the steamed blood glutinous rice with sugar and peanut oil

Prepare a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap (heat-resistant), and place various nuts, preserved fruits and red and green silk
5.
Spread a layer of blood glutinous rice and flatten it with a spoon
6.
Spread red and green silk, melon seeds and raisins around the bowl
7.
Then spread a layer of blood sticky rice along the circumference of the bowl (not too much)

Add the red kidney bean paste filling

Cover with a layer of blood glutinous rice

And use a spatula to compact and smooth, and keep it in the refrigerator after cooling
Tips:
1. The blood glutinous rice should be added with proper amount of water and simmered, not too soft;
2. This amount can make about 2-3 eight-treasure rice on average;
3. The finished eight-treasure rice can be stored in the freezer if it is not eaten in time. When you want to eat it, thaw it in advance and put it on the pot and cook until it is soft.
