The first time I ate this glutinous rice date was at my sister’s wedding banquet. As a cold dish, it was CD-ROM by our children.
Red dates are a beauty product for women. I made this dessert for myself on Women’s Day to reward myself, hehe~"

Ingredients

Glutinous Rice Dates (the Heart is Too Soft)

1. Choose red dates of the same size. If they are very dry, soak them in water and remove the pits. I use the medium-sized Hetian Yuzao.

2. Enucleated. ①Put the scissors in from the stalked end and cut one side. ② Cut a knife on both sides of the jujube core from the cut opening to separate the jujube core from the jujube meat. ③Cut a knife under the jujube nucleus and use scissors to clip the jujube nucleus out.

3. Don't use a knife, it's easy to cut your hands. All are de-cored and reserved.

4. Add some warm water to the glutinous rice flour to form a dough. The dates are already very sweet, so I didn't add sugar to the glutinous rice.

7. Pour half a bowl of hot water into the plate. After the water in the steamer is boiled, put it on a plate and steam for 10-15 minutes until the glutinous rice becomes transparent.

8. Most of the water in the plate is absorbed by the dates. Use honey and warm water to make honey water and pour it on the glutinous rice dates.

Tips:

1. Red dates are too dry to be pitted, so soak them first.
2. The dry goods store sells seedless dates. If you feel that it is troublesome to remove the seed, you can buy seedless dates directly.
3. When mixing glutinous rice balls, add a small amount of water. In the end, there are more glutinous rice balls. Don't throw them away. They are made into small balls and boiled with some fermented rice. It is another dessert~
4. When steaming jujubes, the water in the plate can be added to the height of half of the jujube, and the jujube will absorb water and become soft.
5. Dates are hot, don't eat too much at once.
6. It's best to eat while it is hot, the glutinous rice will harden when it is cold.
