Gourmet "heart is Too Soft" Red Dates and Glutinous Rice
1.
Prepare the materials
2.
Soak the red dates in warm water for about 1 hour in advance.
3.
Cut the soaked red dates horizontally and carefully dig out the date cores.
4.
Put the glutinous rice flour and sticky rice flour into a basin, slowly pour in the appropriate amount of warm water while stirring with chopsticks to form large particles, and then mix into a moderately hard dough, pinch a small piece into a long strip and stuff it into the red dates.
5.
Put an appropriate amount of sugar in a bowl and a little boiled water to dissolve it, then pour it on a plate of steamed red dates.
6.
Steam in a pot of boiling water over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Tips:
1. The jujubes used to make glutinous rice dates are best to choose jujubes that are large in size and fleshy.
2. The drier the jujube is more difficult to pit. I personally feel that the process of removing the pit first and then cutting the date is not easy to operate, so first soak the red date for an hour, so that it will be easier to pit.
3. Do not overdo this dish at a time, just cook as you eat.
