Guiling Paste
1.
Take an appropriate amount of tortoise shell powder and put it in a bowl
2.
Pour in a small amount of warm water (the amount of water is out of proportion), stir the tortoise powder paste into a paste, let it stand for a while for better mixing, try to reduce the bumps
3.
Pour water in proportion to the batter
4.
Stir well
5.
Strain into a small pot, crush the bumps on the strainer with a small spoon, filter with the water in the pot and it's OK
6.
Turn on a low heat throughout the whole process, and stir constantly with a spoon to avoid muddying the bottom of the pot
7.
As the heated liquid begins to thicken, the thick state at the beginning is a bit rough
8.
Continue to stir, the liquid feels a little thin
9.
Don’t stop and continue to stir. The thick liquid is smoother, the color is darker, and bubbles start to appear in the pot. When you scoop up a spoonful and drop from a high place, it’s ok when it floats down like noodles.
10.
Pour into a heat-resistant container and start to solidify while pouring
11.
When the pouring is finished, the liquid on the bottom and sides of the pot has solidified and can be peeled off like paper.
12.
After it is completely cool, cover the lid and store in the refrigerator; cut into pieces according to your needs when eating
13.
Guiling jelly is original, it can be matched with honey, yogurt and whatever you like.
