Hanging Frost Hawthorn
1.
Soak the hawthorn in light salt water for 10 minutes, remove the stalk and wash it.
2.
The starch is baked in the microwave oven.
3.
Use the pen cap to first press the indentation on the stem of the red fruit, and then insert it into the bottom of the red fruit, push it forward, and the core is easily pushed out.
4.
Put the white sugar in the pot on the fire, add boiling water, just over the white sugar, and keep stirring until the sugar is melted and turn to a low heat.
5.
Boil the syrup until there are a lot of bubbles, and use a spatula to dip a little syrup to hang it and pull out the silk. Pour in the hawthorn, stir fry gently, and evenly coat the hawthorn with the syrup.
6.
Sift in the starch with a slotted spoon, wait until the syrup in the pot has solidified, and the hawthorn can be out of the pot after the white frost is hung on the surface of the hawthorn.
7.
Sift out the excess starch and wait for it to cool before serving.
Tips:
1. Note that it is most appropriate to keep the ratio of sugar to water at 1:1.
2. If you want thicker frosting, you can increase the amount of sugar and starch.
