Heart is Too Soft

Soak the red dates in water for one hour, then use scissors to take out the date cores and set aside the red dates.

The materials to be used are ready.

Add two spoons of sugar and two spoons of condensed milk to the boiling water, stir well, then pour the sugar water into the glutinous rice flour, stir in one direction, pour the sugar water and stir the glutinous rice flour.

Knead the glutinous rice flour into a dough shape and let it sit for five minutes.

Knead the dough into a small strip and stuff it into the red dates. Remember, the dough in the dates should not be too big, because the glutinous rice flour will become bigger after steaming and will slip out easily.

Put the cooked heart too soft into the pot, and steam for about 10-15 minutes after the water is boiled.

The steamed heart is too soft. I like to eat the sweeter one and top it with syrup. Because I like the one with lower sweetness, I just eat it like this without adding syrup.
Tips:
Syrup method: Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, put 3 tablespoons of sugar in the water, and stir while boiling; after the water is boiled, add a spoonful of cornstarch, and adjust the syrup in the pot to a syrup.
