Homemade Canned Hawthorn
1.
Wash the hawthorn, remove the hawthorn flower mouth, and poke forward from the flower mouth with a pen cap to remove the hawthorn core
2.
Put clear water in the pot, add sugar and rock sugar, bring to a boil on high heat, turn to medium heat and cook for a while. (If you like hawthorn with more water, you can put more, if you like thicker, you can put less water. Add rock sugar according to your favorite sweetness.)
3.
When the soup is slightly thicker, add hawthorn and cook for ten minutes. Hawthorn should not be cooked for a long time. If it is cooked for too long, it will crack easily.
Tips:
Adding white sugar can make the soup thicker, and adding rock sugar can make the color of the soup brighter and more beautiful. If you like other flavors, you can also put other fruits, such as: apples, peaches, oranges, etc. It’s better to put it in the refrigerator after it’s done.
