Homemade Dried Cumin Beef Jerky
1.
Wash the beef and slice it along the texture. It doesn't need to be too thin, about 0.3 cm. (Beef will shrink when cooked)
2.
Cut the ginger and tie the green onions.
3.
Then put the ginger slices, star anise, bay leaves, tangerine peel, green onions, cooking wine, and rock sugar all into the beef, and stir evenly with chopsticks.
4.
Cover the beef with the seasoning and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. (Flip it over again in the middle to make it more delicious)
5.
Pour the marinated beef into the rice cooker, spread it evenly, cover the rice cooker and press the "cooking" button.
6.
Turn on the rice cooker, take out the beef, pick out the seasoning one by one, sprinkle with chili powder, cumin powder, and sesame, spread out and dry.
7.
Leave it on the balcony to air dry overnight or put it in the refrigerator, and eat it after it has cooled down. It is delicious!
Tips:
After the rice cooker is cooked, if there is still a lot of juice, it is recommended to put it in the pot and stir-fry to collect the juice.
It is not suitable to press the rice cooker again. The rice cooker does not dissipate heat and cannot be used continuously.
I prefer spicy food, children don’t eat spicy food, it suits everyone’s taste, and a little chili powder is mixed. If you are a good friend of spicy food, it is recommended to add some dried chilies when marinating.
