Homemade Hawthorn Slices

Remove the stalk of fresh hawthorn to remove the core. The amount on the recipe is hawthorn without pitting, and the net weight is 1000 grams.

Put the prepared hawthorn in a clean basin and steam it, and steam for 25 minutes after the water is boiled.

Pour the steamed hawthorn and rock sugar powder into the wall breaker while it is hot

Use the sauce function to beat into hawthorn paste. The color of the paste whipped with the wall breaker is relatively light, and the finished product is basically the same color as the takeaway. You can use other cooking machines, but some of the whipping is not broken enough, so it’s not suitable for this

Pour the whipped hawthorn paste into a clean container, let it cool and it will naturally solidify into a block

I took it out after putting it for half a day and cut it into thin slices no more than 2 mm thick.

Fire up and down in the oven at 90 degrees, turn on the hot air circulation, and serve dried hawthorn slices in about 3 hours.
Tips:
1. The rock sugar powder I use can also be replaced with the same amount of white sugar.
2. The specific roasting time will vary depending on the thickness of the slices. Observe more and feel the hardness is enough. If you give it to a baby, don't bake it too dry, because this recipe contains less sugar than the takeaway recipe, so the dried fruit will not be easy to bite.
