Homemade Honey Red Beans-full of Grains, Success Every Time

Wash the red beans a little, soak in water for at least 10 hours, and put more water to let the red beans fully absorb the water.

Put the soaked red beans into the pot with water. After the high heat is boiled, simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat, then pour out the water and remove the red beans.

Rinse it with clean water. Doing so can help the sour taste of some beans last year.

Put the cleaned red beans back into the pot and add water again. The water is about 1 cm below the red beans. At this time, you can add rock sugar (or brown sugar). After the water is boiled, continue to cook on low heat for about 40 minutes. The cooking process is irregular. Stir to prevent the water from sticking to the bottom of the pan. If the water dries too quickly, you can add a small amount of water.

The boiled red beans can be squeezed with your fingers. It should feel like they can be smashed, but they should not be sanded. When it's in this state, remove the red beans, put them in a bowl, and steam them in a pressure cooker. After SAIC, steam them on low heat for 30-40 minutes and let them cool.

1. There are about 400g of honey red beans in this way.
2. You can replace rock sugar with brown sugar and reduce the amount appropriately. I usually use 150g brown sugar.
