Homemade Jujube Paste Stuffing
1.
Soak the red dates in water for one hour.
2.
Use a knife to core (this process is more time-consuming).
3.
Add water that just hasn't red dates, put in rock sugar, boil on high heat and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
4.
Put the cooked red dates in the pot and wait until they cool naturally.
5.
Beat the cooked red dates with a cooking stick.
6.
Then put it on a sieve and sift it to form a delicate jujube paste.
7.
Return the jujube paste to a low heat and simmer again. (Keep mixing in the middle)
8.
Stir slowly to avoid sticking to the pan, and cook until thick.
Tips:
The red dates must be fully soaked so that the dirt in the gap can be easily washed off. The final removal of water is long and boring, but it must be cooked slowly until it is very viscous. After cooling, the jujube paste filling will be more viscous than when it is hot.
