Honey Grapefruit Tea
1.
Use a scraper to scrape off the grapefruit peel (the thinner the peel, the better, try not to scrape the white flesh inside too much, the more the flesh, the more bitter it is)
2.
Knead it with salt for five minutes, then soak it in salt water for two hours, changing the water constantly. After two hours, put the grapefruit peel in a pot and cook for ten minutes (this is done to remove the bitterness of the grapefruit peel). The grapefruit does not need to be broken into small pieces. Once it is put in the pot, it will loosen
3.
Put the grapefruit peel in the pot, add half of the rock sugar, and cook for ten minutes
4.
Don't put too much water in the pot, just don't have the grapefruit meat. Put the grapefruit in the pot, boil on high heat and change to low heat
5.
After boiling for 20 minutes, put the other half of the rock sugar in, and slowly boil it on a low fire. Because there is rock sugar in the pot, keep stirring to avoid sticking the pot.
6.
After more than an hour, the water slowly ran out, so you can turn off the fire.
7.
After it’s a little bit cooler, add a proper amount of honey, cover the bottle, and put it in the refrigerator for seven days. It can be eaten (you don’t need to put it in the refrigerator in winter, just put it directly on the balcony without heating). The white foam in the bottle appeared when Loulou stirred the honey and grapefruit, so try to put liquid honey as much as possible when putting the honey, and this will not happen.
Tips:
The bitterness of the prepared honey grapefruit tea will be lighter the longer it is left, so it should be left for seven days without opening the lid of the glass bottle.
