Honey Grapefruit Tea
1.
Rub the surface of the grapefruit with salt for 5 minutes to remove the wax on the surface of the grapefruit
2.
Wash away the salt on the surface of the grapefruit with warm water. Peel off the yellow skin of the grapefruit thinly, not the white part. Soak in dilute salt water for more than 8 hours (it is best to change the water twice in the middle) to remove the bitter taste.
3.
Break the grapefruit pulp into small pieces
4.
Boil the rock sugar in a pot with a proper amount of water, add the grapefruit peel and cook for 5-10 minutes. The grapefruit peel becomes translucent. Then add the grapefruit meat. Cook on high heat for about 15 minutes, turn to low heat and simmer slowly.

Tips:
1. The grapefruit peel should be cleaned and soaked in salt water to remove the bitter taste. After soaking in salt water, the water must be blanched in cold water to maintain the taste!
2. You can add proper amount of boiling water when melting the rock sugar for better boiling.
3. After the rock sugar is boiled, the grapefruit peel is boiled until the finished product can not be added with water...otherwise it will affect the preservation.
