It’s Just A Pot of Fun: Steamed Buns Taste Like Meat, You Can Do this
1.
Cut the beef into pieces in advance, add black pepper powder, starch and part of the soy sauce, and marinate for 15 minutes with the consumption of oil.
2.
Add water and yeast in the multi-function cooker, and then put Arowana and Australian cob wheat flour into it and knead it until it is finished.
3.
Cover the kneaded dough with plastic wrap for fermentation.
4.
Pour the cooking oil into the cast iron pan and saute the ginger until fragrant, then put the marinated beef in the pan and stir fry until the color changes.
5.
Add 1000ML of boiling water, then put the remaining soy sauce, oil, dark soy sauce, star anise, and cinnamon in the pot and simmer for 20 minutes.
6.
After 20 minutes, add carrots and potatoes and simmer for another 20 minutes.
7.
Then we will make the fermented dough of "small twist", take it out and knead a long strip.
8.
Cut the small dough into two pieces with a knife in the middle.
9.
Twist the two rounded dough pieces like twists and cover them with plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.
10.
Continue to add the green beans, cover the pot and simmer for 10 minutes.
11.
Spread the still "small twists" on top of the beef one by one, cover the pot on medium heat for 15 minutes (do not open the pot in the middle).
12.
Serve the whole pot directly to the table.
Tips:
I personally recommend making more steamed buns, because steamed buns are really better than meat.
Adjust the amount of ingredients appropriately according to personal taste.
