Jujube Heart is Too Soft
1.
First prepare the ingredients: 120g red dates, 120g glutinous rice flour, 20g rock sugar, 1 spoon of osmanthus honey
2.
Wash the red dates (if they are very dry, soak them softly)
3.
Soak the rock sugar in warm water to melt
4.
After the red dates are fully soaked in water, take them out and cut a hole in the middle of the date with a knife to the position of the date core
5.
Use the tail of the spoon to pick out the date pits, or use pointed scissors to cut out the date pits
6.
Put the prepared glutinous rice flour, pour the melted rock sugar water into the glutinous rice flour little by little, don’t pour it in at once, otherwise too much water will prevent the flour from becoming lumps
7.
And the dough
8.
Divide the dough into dough about the size of red dates
9.
Stuff the dough into the red dates
10.
Pour the remaining rock sugar water on the glutinous rice and red dates, then steam it in the steamer for 15 minutes
11.
Let the steamed glutinous rice and red dates cool, and top with sweet-scented osmanthus honey to complete the red dates. The heart is too soft.
