Kumquat Passion Jam
1.
Wash the kumquats to remove the pedicles, and scrub the surface with salt
2.
Cut the passion fruit in half and remove the pulp
3.
Cut the kumquat into slices, but the core inside can not be removed. I have a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder, so I took it out while cutting it!
4.
Put the cut kumquats and 250g rock sugar into a casserole, simmer slowly and stir constantly
5.
When the kumquat becomes soft and oozes juice, turn to medium heat and simmer
6.
After stirring continuously for an hour, the transparent pectin is boiled out
7.
Turn to low heat and pour the passion fruit pulp, stir well and turn off the heat
8.
The combination of kumquat and passion fruit makes this jam taste very mellow, making water, spreading bread, and yogurt taste great!
Tips:
This jam is anhydrous, so be sure to stir more when boiling, so as not to stick to the pot
