Osmanthus Yam Cake

Wash the iron rod yam and put it on the steamer, and steam it for about 20 minutes, prick it with a small fork, and it will be steamed when it can be pierced through.

Tips:
If you are allergic to yam when washing yam, you can wash your hands with white vinegar. The steamed yam is peeled faster with a spatula. If peeled and steamed first, the yam will have a hard outer skin. If you don’t have osmanthus honey, you can use blueberry jam instead. Just add a little water to dilute the blueberry jam.
