The fried crab in the shelter of the typhoon is considered a relatively high-end seafood dish in overseas Chinese restaurants. It is a bit different from Hong Kong which mainly uses fried garlic granules. When I eat the fried crab in Shelter Bay, the last thing left after eating is the charred minced meat. The charred minced meat is fragrant with garlic and chili as a whole, which is very appetizing. It costs 22 Canadian dollars (equivalent to RMB 138) for a typhoon-shelter fried crab for take-out. Therefore, if you are not a treat, you rarely order this dish. Hehe, of course, if you can make it, it will cost you more than ten dollars. . . . "

【overseas Version】fried Crab in Shelter Pond

1. The crabs I bought are cleaned. (I bought two, one for steaming and the other for "Fried Crab in Shelter")

2. First twist out the big tongs of the crab. (This way you don’t have to worry about getting the pliers when you clean inside and out)

3. Pull the crab's back shell forcefully, then clean the inside, and cut off the gas gills with kitchen scissors.

4. Use a meat hammer to break the crab claws (the purpose is to make it easy to taste when frying, and to peel off the shell when eating)

5. Cut the cleaned crab into pieces.

6. Prepare green and red peppers, tempeh, garlic and minced meat.

7. Dice the green and red pepper, mince the garlic, soak the tempeh in water, and rinse the minced meat with water to remove the blood.

8. The cut crabs are marinated for a while with ginger, chives, salt, and wine.

9. Wrap the marinated crabs in flour.

10. Put the oil in the small pot and heat it up to the point where it foams with chopsticks.

11. Gently put the flour-coated crabs into a small hot pot (use a small pot to save oil) and fry them until golden brown.

12. Scoop up the fried crabs and drain the oil.

13. Put oil in the wok and sauté the garlic rice and tempeh.

14. After sauteing the garlic rice and tempeh, add the minced pork and stir fry as much as possible to make the minced meat dry and fragrant.

15. After sautéing the minced meat, add green and red pepper and stir fry quickly.

16. Finally, put the fried crabs, add wine, and quickly stir fry with a little sugar and salt. Wow, the aroma of burnt, crabmeat, garlic, and pepper...the blended together, the fragrance is overflowing, and the mouth-watering "Overseas Version, Stir-Fried Crab in Shelter" is ready to serve. . .

17. Place the fried crabs on a plate, spread the burnt-flavored minced meat, tempeh and green red peppers on the noodles. Wash your hands and start eating. . . (Because it is the first time to learn how to make it, so I reimbursed it myself. It tastes good. Christmas will be a banquet dish, haha)

Tips:

When cleaning the crab, twist its tongs first, so that you don’t have to worry about the power of the tongs.
