Red Date Lily Snow Pear Soup
1.
Fresh lily, broken apart, looks like a picture. Remove old yellow leaves.
2.
Sydney pears are cleaned and peeled.
3.
Cut into suitable size pieces for later use.
4.
Clean the stew cup and add 600 ml of water.
5.
This is a water-proof electric stewing pot, add water to the outer pot below the highest mark, press the key to the dessert, and cover the lid to start stewing. One program is three hours.
6.
Wash the red dates, put them in the water when they start to stew, and stew them together.
7.
The lily is cleaned and set aside.
8.
Bring the water to a boil, add Sydney and stir. Continue to cover and stew. One hour.
9.
After an hour, add the fresh lily that has been washed and drained, and stir well. Continue to stew.
10.
After 10 minutes, add 58-60 grams of old rock sugar. Stir it and continue to simmer for an hour with the lid on. During this period, you can open the lid and stir twice.
11.
After the whole process of simmering for two and a half hours, the lily is soft and sweet, ready to eat out of the pot.
Tips:
1. The amount of rock sugar is just right, not too sweet, it neutralizes the bitterness of lily, just right. 2. You can add a little wolfberry, but I didn't like it so I didn't add it. 3. It can be simmered directly without an electric stew pot. Must simmer enough time!
