Rock Sugar Bayberry
1.
Choose fresh bayberry.
2.
Pick out the leaves to pick out fresh and good quality.
3.
Remove the leaf stems and soak in light salt water for an hour. Do not put too much salt. The main purpose of soaking in salt water is to kill bacteria and soak out some bugs that may exist on the bayberry. However, there is no problem, indicating that the plum is okay.
4.
I found a small glass bottle, washed it, soaked it in hot water, and sterilized it.
5.
Because the bottle is relatively small and the rock candy is a bit big, I am too lazy to crush it. I chose white granulated sugar. If possible, rock candy is the most suitable. The result is a pure taste.
6.
Put in bayberry.
7.
Add a layer of sugar to cover each layer of bayberry.
8.
Until it is full.
9.
Finally tighten the lid and let it stand for half a month, and the sweet and sour red bayberry juice will be soaked.
Tips:
There are many ways to make bayberry juice, and this is just the simplest one. If you don’t use it, the taste will be unique. The lid must be tightened to prevent the invasion of foreign bacteria and mold, and it is best to store it in the refrigerator.
