Rock Sugar Hawthorn Sauce
1.
1. Prepare hawthorn. (Bought in the supermarket, not to mention the oversized ones, there are a lot of bugs, let's think it is very green.)
2.
2. Wash and drain, and remove the stalk. (Actually, it’s good to go together when removing the seeds, I just record my steps truthfully)
3.
3. Cut one side with scissors, pick out the seeds and remove the damaged parts with insects.
4.
4. The processed hawthorn meat.
5.
5. Pour into the food processor in batches, add appropriate amount of water and stir to make a puree. (It takes a long time to add more water, so add less.)
6.
6. Put the mashed hawthorn into a stainless steel pot for later use.
7.
7. Add a proper amount of rock sugar to the pot and start to simmer on low heat.
8.
8. Use chopsticks to stir until the rock sugar melts, then add sugar again. (I think it's boring to stir, and I aim to melt the rock sugar, haha!)
9.
9. Because the water has been added, it has been boiled for a long time, and the water is almost boiled, so you can turn off the heat.
10.
10. The temperature of the jam has dropped slightly, then use a spoon to scoop it up and put it into a clean glass bottle.
Tips:
1. The water was almost boiled and it started to bubble, and some jam would splash out. I gently touched my hand a few times, leaving exaggerated large blisters. Please pay attention to it.
2. Babies love to eat too, I love to eat too, remember to rinse or brush your teeth after eating!
