Soft and Glutinous ❗️blood and Qi ❗️red Dates and Glutinous Rice~the Heart is Too Soft
1.
Prepare the ingredients. The Ruoqiang dates I use are about 3 cm long.
2.
Wash the red dates and soak in warm water for 30 minutes
3.
Cut it with a knife, without cutting, remove the date pits,
4.
If you don’t want to go to the date pits yourself, you can buy the pitted red dates directly, which is more convenient and trouble-free
5.
Add glutinous rice flour to warm water (about 60 degrees), first stir into floc with chopsticks,
6.
Then knead it into a delicate, smooth and soft glutinous rice ball. If it feels dry~ add some water or too wet~ add some powder,
7.
Roll into long strips, cut into small doses, about 3.5-4 g each, and roll into an oval shape. (If you like to eat glutinous dough, increase the amount of small doses, but if you add too much glutinous rice dough, the proportion of the finished product is not Looks good, this depends on what you like 💕) 3.5-4 grams of glutinous rice balls are suitable for my red dates with a length of 3 cm. If you choose large red dates, adjust the amount of glutinous rice balls.
8.
Add the glutinous rice ball to the middle of the red dates, squeeze it in the middle, and let the red dates wrap the glutinous rice ball.
9.
Put it all on the plate and bring the steamer to a boil
10.
Put red dates and glutinous rice balls, steam for about 10 minutes on high heat, (if the dates are bigger, extend the time appropriately)
11.
When steaming jujubes, make sugar water, fine sugar ➕ put the water in the milk pot and boil, then simmer for 2 minutes, turn off the heat, pour out a spoonful of sugar water ➕ dried osmanthus, make osmanthus syrup
12.
Take out the steamed jujubes, roll each one in sugar water to make the jujubes translucent, use to avoid sticking
13.
Put it on the plate and pour it with sweet-scented osmanthus syrup
14.
Soft and sweet, especially delicious😋
Tips:
The glutinous rice ball should be kneaded smoothly and softly, add water when it is dry, add flour when it is wet,
The dates I use are about 3 cm in size. If you use jujubes, the amount of glutinous rice flour should be increased, and the steaming time should be increased. Sugar water can also be replaced with honey water.
