Sour Plum Soup
1.
Prepare materials
6 light-colored ebony plums (if not, there will be more ebony plums)
2.
Soak ebony plum and dried hawthorn in water for 10 minutes
3.
Put ebony, dried hawthorn, roselle, licorice into a pot and add 2000ml water
4.
Bring to a boil on high heat, turn to medium and low heat
5.
After cooking for 20 minutes
6.
Add rock sugar, stir to melt, turn off the heat and cover and simmer for 15 minutes, let it cool, filter into the bottle, and refrigerate
Tips:
1. After the roselle is soaked, it will taste sour and sweet, and the ebony plum will be sour. If you feel sour, you can put more rock sugar.
2. I use two types of ebony, so the color is not so dark. If there is only one type of ebony, the amount should be increased. Otherwise the smell will be very weak.
3. Add some dried osmanthus and cook together, it will taste very good~
4. It is best not to use iron or copper pots to cook sour plum soup, which is not suitable for cooking acidic substances.
