Spiced Braised Beef

Prepare the ingredients

Cinnamon, Chinese pepper, bay leaves, cumin, star anise, rock sugar (you can use one piece), ginger slices

Wrap the spices in gauze

Wash the beef and cut into 2 pieces

Boil a pot of boiling water, add cooking wine, ginger slices, and add beef blanching water

Blanched beef for later use

Mix the bean paste with warm water

Put all the seasonings such as light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rock sugar, green onion and ginger into the pot, add beef, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer for 2 hours

You can see that the juice is almost collected (I made a few tea eggs by the way)

Soak the beef in the marinade and cool it before slicing. It's more delicious and fragrant...

Tips:
Don't use too much soy sauce, it will turn black if it gets too much. This marinade can be used repeatedly
