I bought a bream today. I always wanted to learn how to make peacock fish. I tried it at home during the holiday. It happened to have Hunan sausages at home, so I thought of steaming them together!

Steamed Fish with Sausage

1. Cut off the head and tail of the bought bream after removing the scales

2. Then take out the viscera from the fish belly and cut it evenly with a knife. Don't cut off the belly of the fish! Clean again

3. Add cooking wine to the fish

4. Spread the salt evenly and marinate for 15 minutes

5. Thinly sliced potatoes

6. The sausage is also cut into thin slices

7. Scallion and ginger shredded, mat in the bottom of the plate

8. Put the bream on the green onion and ginger

9. Put potato chips on each piece of fish

10. Put on the sausage slices

11. Add water to the pot and boil, put the fish in the steamer and steam for 7-8 minutes. When the time is up, turn off the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

12. Make a pouring sauce: add light soy sauce and sugar to a small bowl

13. Add some pepper and mix well and set aside

14. Take out the steamed fish and discard the steamed soup

15. Pour the adjusted watering sauce on each piece of fish, add some chili and green onion

16. Heat the hot oil, pour the hot oil on the chopped green onion and chili

Tips:

When processing fish, cut off the fish head first and then clean the internal organs. Never cut or cut off the fish maw!
Each piece of fish is cut into smaller pieces and it looks good!
Cut the potatoes and sausages thinly because the steaming time is short!
You can also put potato slices and sausage slices on the bottom of the plate, then put green onions and ginger on the fish!
