Steamed Halibut

The flounder must be thawed in advance. The thawing can be defrosted at room temperature, or you can use the thawing function of a microwave oven or an oven, but you must not use boiling water or hot water to defrost for quickness, as the fish will be easily cooked.

Slice the ginger and cut a few pieces of broccoli for later use.

Fresh fish does not have any peculiar smell, and there is no need to deliberately remove it when steaming. I usually steam it directly on the plate, and steam it with a few slices of ginger at the same time. The flavor is better.

I use the steamer for steaming. You can steam it in a steamer. The effect is the same. Put cold water into the pot and boil it for 3 to 5 minutes. The steaming time depends on the thickness of the fish. There is something on the steamer. Special steam fish function, just press the steam fish button.

After steaming, take it out, dilute the steamed fish soy sauce with a little boiled water, pour it into the dish, and then add a little olive oil to eat.
