Strawberry Shortcake
1.
Prepare the materials
2.
Cut a large sheet of frozen meringue into 4 small square meringues, beat the eggs and set aside
3.
Fold the puff pastry in half into a triangle, and use a knife to make two cuts at 0.5 cm from the edge, as shown in the figure
4.
Spread the puff pastry, brush with egg wash around the edges, and fold the cut on the left to the right. See picture
5.
Then fold the right side to the left side, as shown in the figure, and brush the egg liquid on the surface again
6.
Put the shaped puff pastry into the preheated oven, and bake the middle layer at 200 degrees for 10 minutes (bake until the thickness of the puff pastry expands to about 4 times the original).
7.
Already baked puff pastry
8.
Put the strawberry jam into the piping bag
9.
Then squeeze the strawberry jam into the middle of the baked meringue
Tips:
1. The puff pastry should be made while it is not completely thawed, otherwise it will be very soft and difficult to make after being warmed up;
2. Other flavors of jam can be selected according to personal preference.
