3. Chinese yam, barley, and Gorgon are like brothers, all of whom have the magical effect of invigorating the spleen and stomach. However, when it is used, it also has its own focus. Yam can nourish the five internal organs, take care of the spleen, lungs and kidneys, and nourish qi and yin. It also has the power of astringency. Barley, invigorating the spleen and clearing the lungs, hydrating water and benefiting the stomach, nourishing the middle and clearing, is good at removing dampness and turbidity. Gorgon, invigorating the spleen and kidneys, relieving diarrhea and relieving seizures, is the most convergent and solid-free.
