My family loves toffee, so I occasionally make some for them. Unlike the ones sold outside, I will add almond wood to supplement people with more nutrition. In fact, the preparation of toffee is not difficult. It is similar to snow flakes, but the taste is completely different. The toffee is full of milk, soft and chewy. You might as well try it. You can also replace it with other almonds without almonds. Nuts!

1. Pour all the ingredients except Batam wood into the pot.

2. Bring to a boil on medium heat, turn to a low heat, and stir while boiling.
(Note: Do not over-stir, as long as it does not stick to the bottom)

3. Turn off the heat at about 160 degrees, (you can use a probe thermometer to test the temperature). At this time, the syrup is boiled until dark, add almond wood and mix quickly.

Tips:

I use a non-stick baking pan, so there is no greased paper when shaping. If you use a normal baking pan, remember to spread it.
