Traditional Red Dates and Glutinous Rice Dumplings

Ingredients: yellow rice, glutinous rice; filling: red dates, peanuts, red beans, candied dates, except for the red dates, the other fillings are bought and cooked in one pot; wrapping: a bundle of zong leaves, a ball of cotton thread;

Soak the zong leaves, put them in a pot and cook for 15 minutes. I used bamboo leaves and reed leaves.

Put the glutinous rice and yellow rice into the water to soak up.

Take 2 zong leaves and fold them into a funnel shape.

First put a red date on the bottom, then add glutinous rice, peanuts or red dates, and then cover the top with a layer of rice that is nine minutes full.

Fold the zongye on the left to the right, and fold the zongye on the right to the left, and finally wrap it all up.

Put the wrapped rice dumplings into the pot and add water that is twice as much as the rice dumplings. I saw a lot of stuffing. It was the first time to wrap rice dumplings. There were fillings of yellow rice, glutinous rice, red dates, peanuts, and red beans, and there was no color rope.
