Adzuki Bean Rice Cake Soup

1. Wash the adzuki beans and soak them in clean water overnight until they become soft. Change the water frequently to clean them, and wash the rice cakes.

2. Cut into two pieces.

3. Large chunks of rock sugar, white granulated sugar can also be used.

4. Put an appropriate amount of water in the casserole.

5. Bring to a low heat and simmer.

6. Add rock sugar in the simmer for about 20 minutes. (Because I put in a large piece of rock sugar, I need to add it in advance. If it is white sugar, I can add it later.)

7. Simmer and cook for about 40 minutes. Add the rice cakes.

8. Cook together until the rice cake becomes soft and tender.
