Autumn Pear Paste
1.
After the pears are cleaned, they are peeled and pitted and cut into small pieces. Zhuqiu Pear Paste recommends that you choose Snow Pear, because Snow Pear has the effects of clearing the heart, moisturizing the lungs, relieving cough, and hangover.
2.
Put the pears in the food processor and break them up
3.
Cut Luo Han Guo into pieces and prepare Chuan Fritillaria. If you like a sweeter taste, you can add rock sugar and cook together, or add honey when the autumn pear paste is boiled until it is not hot. I personally think that the sweetness of pears is just right, so no extra rock sugar and honey are added.
4.
Put the crushed Luo Han Guo and Chuan Fritillaria into the pear paste and bring to a boil, then change to a low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. It is recommended that you use a slightly larger casserole, the casserole used to cook porridge daily. If you use the casserole of daily stew to cook autumn pear paste, the residual taste in the casserole will affect the fragrance of the fruit
5.
After 30 minutes, put the pear soup in the strainer and strain it again
6.
When the filtered pear residue is not hot, wrap it with a double layer of gauze to squeeze out the pear juice, discard the pear residue. Then put the pear soup back in the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes. If the pear soup is slightly viscous, turn off the heat. My 6 catties of pears only boiled about 300 grams of autumn pear paste. Put the autumn pear paste in an airtight jar and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 month. Add a spoonful of Qiuli cream to a glass of warm water every morning!
