Black Rice Candied Haws

1. Mix black rice and glutinous rice in a ratio of 3 to 1 for 12 hours

2. Put in the pressure cooker and add proper amount of water to select the cooking button

3. After cooking, put it in a bowl and add two spoons of soft sugar and stir evenly

4. Wash the hawthorn to remove the stem

5. Cut the hawthorn horizontally with a knife. Don't cut it to the end, but cut it in circles in the middle. Then it came by twisting it twice by hand. Cut off the seeds in the middle.

6. Go half a hawthorn and fill it with black rice with a spoon

7. Buckle the hawthorn together

8. String them one by one with bamboo sticks.

9. Boil the syrup with sugar and water over low heat. I don't know the ratio. I will stay for a while with more water, and for a while with less water.

10. The boiled sugar turns yellow. When it becomes sticky, try putting it in cold water. It will clump immediately. Use a spoon to pour the boiled sugar on the candied haws, and pour the sugar while turning.

11. Oil on the chopping board

12. Put the hawthorn skewers topped with syrup on the chopping board and wait for it to cool.

13. Finished product
