Blueberry Braid Bread
1.
Prepare ingredients.
2.
Put all the ingredients except butter in the bucket of the bread machine first. Pay attention to the order when putting it, put the liquid first, then the flour, finally put the salt and sugar diagonally, and put the yeast in the middle. I used an egg with about 50 grams of shell removed, and then added milk. The total weight of the egg and milk is 180 grams.
3.
Stir the ingredients in the bucket of the bread maker a few times, so that the bread maker is not easy to splash powder when kneading, and the mixing is more complete. If it is easier to use a cook machine, it can be kneaded by hand.
4.
Knead it all the way into a smooth dough, then add the butter cut into small pieces and knead it to expand. For the bread machine, I usually choose the dough mixing program and put it in after 15 minutes
5.
Ferment in a warm place to double its size. You can use your finger to dip the flour and poke the hole to test it. If it does not rebound and does not collapse, it will prove that the fermentation is good.
6.
After venting the dough, divide it into 6 portions and let it loose for ten minutes.
7.
Then roll the dough into an oval shape and sprinkle with dried blueberries. You can also use raisins, etc. instead.
8.
Roll into strips and rub them into long strips. Don't worry, rub it slowly. Rotate and rub, so that the long strips are quickly rubbed.
9.
Divide the three strips into a group and pinch the head firmly.
10.
Braided into a braid. You can also divide it into four-strand braid or five-strand braid, whatever you want.
11.
Put the prepared flap bread in a baking tray and leave it in a warm place to ferment to double its size. I put it in the oven to ferment.
12.
The surface can be brushed with egg wash or milk. I didn't brush anything. Put it in the preheated oven, 180 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
