Braised Pork Tongue

Buy the pork tongue and wash it. Put the pork tongue in a pot of boiling water and cook it.

After cooking, use cold water and scrape off the white film with a knife. The cleaner the better.

Scrape clean the tongue of the offspring of the white film.

Put the cleaned pork tongue into a pot filled with water.

Add cooking wine, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon, dried chili, and ginger.

Bring to a boil first, then turn to low heat and simmer until the juice is collected.

After collecting the juice, remove it to cool and slice.

It's delicious. You can eat it directly, or stir-fry with green and red peppers, or it can be served cold.
