Braised Winter Melon with Mushroom Sauce
1.
Peel the winter melon and cut into pieces, remove the stalks of the shiitake mushrooms, and cut the top with a cross knife. It should be cut deeper. I made a shallow stroke, the finished product opening is not obvious. Wash sea rice and soak in warm water, slice ginger, chopped green onion, and 2 tablespoons of mushroom paste.
2.
Put a little oil in a pot and sauté the ginger slices.
3.
Stir fry the winter melon until it turns slightly yellow.
4.
Add shiitake mushrooms, sea rice, shiitake mushroom sauce, add a little salt, and cook a teaspoon of white sugar over medium heat until the melon is soft and waxy.
5.
Collect the juice over high heat, add appropriate amount of ground pepper and thicken the thick gorgon.
6.
Sprinkle with chopped green onion.
Tips:
Because of the shiitake mushroom sauce, the amount of salt has to be reduced.
