Christmas Gingerbread House
1.
First of all, we design the drawing, cut out the paper mold with hard paper, and then we can build it.
2.
Mix all the flours first. (It can also be sieved, I am lazy, not sieved.)
3.
Put the butter outside to soften, add brown sugar and beat until fluffy.
4.
Add egg liquid in portions and beat well.
5.
Pour in milk and honey and beat well.
6.
Pour in the mixed flour, knead it into a smooth dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator to relax for 30-60 minutes.
7.
Wrap the board and rolling pin with plastic wrap. Take 2/3 of the dough and roll it out into large slices, and cut out the dough pieces of the house according to the paper mold.
8.
Pierce the hole with a fork.
9.
Preheat the oven at 400F/200C, bake for 10 minutes, and let it cool. (The temperature of the oven varies, so be careful not to burn it.)
10.
Roll out another 1/3 of the dough and cut out a 30cm*25cm, 3mm thick base, also pierce some small holes, bake for 10 minutes, and let cool.
11.
I made some gingerbread and fences for the leftovers.
12.
After the pie slices are cool, you can use colorful frosting to draw some patterns on the wall and let the frosting dry overnight. (I buy the colored frosting off-the-shelf.)
13.
Put the egg whites in powdered sugar and vinegar and beat them with a whisk until it is very viscous. Lift the whisk so that the frosting can hang on the whisk and not flow. Put the frosting in the piping bag.
14.
Glue the four walls together and hold them firmly with your hands for a while.
15.
Glue the chimney together,
16.
After the wall is firm, stick the roof on and hold it with your hands for about 5 minutes to make it stick firmly and not slide down.
17.
After the roof is fixed, glue the chimney on and fix it by hand for a while. After the house is built, it can be decorated at will.
18.
Finally, sift the powdered sugar on it.
Tips:
1. The amount of this material can make a 30cm*25cm base and a 16cm high house, fence and some gingerbread.
2. 1 cup=250Ml, 1 teaspoon=5ml.
3. Powdered sugar must be used for icing, as granulated sugar will not make a sticky icing.
4. It is best to make 2 more pillars on the ceiling. I didn't prepare it. I accidentally broke a piece while gluing it, so I stuck it up with icing sugar.
