Congee with Red Dates and Mixed Grains

Prepare the ingredients.

Wash the glutinous millet, oats, and corn thoroughly and put them in an electric boiling pot, add an appropriate amount of water, boil at a high level, and cook at a low level until the millet blooms.

Add the red dates and cook for about 2 minutes, turn off the heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice in the meantime, until the porridge becomes viscous and ready to eat.
