Double Ninth Cake

Pour the glutinous rice flour, sticky rice flour and powdered sugar into the bowl and mix well

Pour water and oil

Use both hands to form coarse grains, cover with plastic wrap, and let stand for 20 minutes

Use a sieve to sieve once. I use the sieve delivered by the soymilk machine. Don’t use a sieve that is too fine, otherwise it will be too difficult to sieve. Use a spoon or fingers to press the coarse powder, I think the fastest way to press it with your fingers

Lay a piece of oiled paper on the bottom of the 6-inch round anode movable bottom mold, and apply a layer of oil on the inner wall, so that it will be easy to demold. Pour half of the powder in, do not compact, use a spoon to gently smooth the surface

Put it in a pot where the water has already boiled, and steam for 5 minutes on high heat

Pour in the remaining powder and smooth it out, remember not to compact it. Put all kinds of dried fruits on it.

Spray water on the surface. After the water in the pot is boiled, steam it on high heat for about 25 minutes. The steaming time will be different for different molds.
Tips:
The Double Ninth Cake is soft and refreshing, with the sweetness of roses, but because it is a high-carbohydrate, low-protein food, it is not suitable for fasting.
