Dragon Boat Festival Moxa Leaf Glutinous Rice Cake

Prepare fresh mugwort leaves.

Prepare glutinous rice flour and sticky rice flour.

Wash the mugwort leaves, blanch for a while in boiling water (add some baking soda); remove and drain.

The blanched mugwort leaves are mashed into puree.

Mix the glutinous rice flour and sticky rice flour, and pour the moxa leaf and juice into the flour together.

Mix well and make a smooth dough.

Take a few pieces of fresh mugwort leaves, wash them, and spread them in a cage.

Add black sesame powder and ground peanuts to rapeseed oil and mix into filling.

The glutinous rice flour is divided into several small doses; the peanut filling is wrapped.

Use a mold to make a cake embryo; put it in a cage.

Boil the water in the pot and put it in the basket.

Steam on high heat for 5 minutes until the glutinous rice cake is cooked through.
Tips:
1. Adding sticky rice noodles makes it easier to shape; if you want a good taste, you don't need to add sticky rice noodles.
2. If you like sweets, you can add some sugar to adjust the filling.
3. There is no mold to make glutinous rice balls and steamed. The same is true.
