Eight Treasure Congee for Enriching Blood

Prepare the ingredients and the amount. You can grab a small handful of each ingredient with your hands.

Red beans, black beans, blood glutinous rice are cleaned and soaked in warm water for 2 hours until the beans rise.

Wash the red dates and cut them into small pieces, do not need the core in the middle, and rinse the dried longan with water.

Rinse the black sesame and millet with water.

Fill the casserole with enough water, put all the ingredients except the brown sugar in the casserole, boil on high heat and turn to low heat for 20 minutes.

Pack 50 grams of brown sugar on a plate for later use. This brown sugar tastes right, sweet but not greasy. It is packaged with a seal and is ready to use. It is not easy to get damp after use.

Boil the porridge in the casserole until it thickens, add brown sugar and continue cooking until it melts.

If you are in a hurry, you can boil the ingredients in a pressure cooker or rice cooker, but the porridge cooked in a casserole will taste better.
