I am always greedy when I see the eight-treasure rice. The food sold out is always too oily. There are several people at home that can’t eat it and it’s too oily. This festive snack must be made by yourself~~ Although the appearance of glutinous rice is not as good as that of white glutinous rice, it is the king to like it with my dear (actually, I think blood glutinous rice is delicious, hehe)

I don’t like red and green silk, winter melon sugar, etc., but I replaced it with pine nuts and raisins. The candied dates must be broken. The pavement is made of kumquat with my own candied fruit.

Of course the bean paste in it was fried by myself, this time brown sugar and olive oil were used.

Eight Treasure Rice with Blood Glutinous Rice

1. Soak the blood glutinous rice overnight.

2. Steam in a steamer on medium heat for 15 minutes.

3. Prepare pine nuts, raisins, candied dates, longan meat, candied kumquats, bean paste and other ingredients.

4. Put butter in the mold and set aside.

5. Spread pine nuts, raisins, candied dates, candied kumquats and other ingredients in the oiled bowl.

6. Steamed blood glutinous rice first.

7. Spread a layer of blood glutinous rice carefully, and be careful not to squeeze the surface material.

8. After a little pressure with the back of the spoon, spread a layer of red bean paste, and then press the back of the spoon to make it firm. Our family loves red bean paste, so there are plenty of bean pastes.

9. Spread longan meat on top of the red bean paste. (The small bowl was not shot at this step, and I changed it to a new bowl to make up the shot)

10. Cover with blood glutinous rice, and press to flatten it.

11. In this way, make all the eight-treasure rice, put it on the steamer, turn to medium heat and steam for 20 minutes after the water is boiled.
