Family portrait casserole is a must-have dish for my family’s New Year’s Eve dinner. The ingredients in the casserole are very rich! Pork skin, cabbage, fried fish, shrimp, winter bamboo shoots, quail eggs, bacon slices. . . . There are also soybean sprouts, also called Ruyi dishes. Different people have slightly different side dishes, some with meatballs, fish balls, and vermicelli. . . . There are also egg dumplings, because they are shaped like gold ingots, they are a must! The whole family gathered around the steaming casserole, eating lively! This is the taste of Chinese New Year!

Family Portrait Casserole

1. Prepared ingredients: steamed and sliced bacon, egg dumplings, small fried fish, sweet shrimp (preferably fried river prawns with oil), boiled quail eggs and peeled off the shell

2. Soak the skin in advance, soften and cut into small pieces, blanch the winter bamboo shoots and slice into water

3. Wash soy sprouts

4. Wash the cabbage and cut into sections

5. Prepare a pot of stock, if you don’t have it, use Knorr Soup Bao

6. Boil until the thick soup is melted, add appropriate amount of cooking wine and salt to boil for later use

7. Take a large casserole, spread cabbage on the bottom, and add soybean sprouts

8. Spread the prepared ingredients on top

9. Put a shiitake mushroom in the middle

10. Pour the cooked stock into the casserole

11. Cover and boil, turn to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes

12. Sprinkle with shredded green onions after cooking

Tips:

The ingredients inside can be adjusted according to your liking, but egg dumplings, pork skins, cabbage and soybean sprouts are usually put in, and you can also put them in and cook together.
