Fancy Bean Paste Bun
1.
One night in advance, add the flour to the right amount of warm water to form a dough, cover with plastic wrap, and ferment naturally in a warm place.
2.
Take out the fermented dough and knead it well. Add 2g of baking soda to dissolve it with warm water, then knead it into the dough and knead it well.
3.
For the loose dough, I also added a drop of red pigment, which can be omitted. I just bought a bottle of pigment online and wanted to try the color. One drop is fine, just a little bit of color, then knead the dough, divide the dough into 12 small dough pieces, take the 4 dough pieces and roll them into round cakes, and then stack the 4 round cakes together. Put 2 red bean paste fillings, roll them up from one side, then cut them in the middle, and arrange them to make a beautiful rose fancy bean paste bun
4.
And so on, make all the bean paste buns.
5.
Today I used the small steamer on the sandwich maker, enough for two. Add the right amount of water to the steamer, and put the prepared bean paste buns into the steamer.
6.
Turn on the power, boil high heat, and steam on medium heat for 15 minutes. The water was accidentally added a bit too much. When the pot was boiling, the water turned over on the steamer, and the bean paste bun was bathed in water, so the color also changed.
7.
After being out of the pot, the color of the bean paste buns after the water bath is also pretty good, without affecting the taste, the same delicious.
