I used to love fish very much. I like to eat fish regardless of the type, but now I don’t know how to eat fish, I always feel particularly fishy, and I don’t like it anymore. Marine fish are still okay, and river fish feel that there is a smell of soil, so my family eats less and less fish. Now I am okay with octopus, whether it is stewed or fried. I fry the octopus without egg mixture. I think the octopus in egg mixture is not crispy enough, so I just dip it in dry flour and fry it. After it is fried, it will still be scorched and delicious. I especially like to eat fried octopus while eating pancakes, and then nibble on the octopus in both hands. It feels like when I was a child, I miss it very much, and it feels comfortable to eat haha, is it getting old?

Fried Octopus

1. First, remove the scales and internal organs of the hairtail, clean and cut into sections for later use

2. Prepare green onion, ginger, garlic slices, pepper and aniseed

3. Pour all the condiments on top of the hairtail

4. Add some salt

5. Add appropriate amount of Erguotou, stir evenly with chopsticks and marinate for more than 2 hours, and stir several times during the period

6. Heat cast iron pan and add flax oil

7. Remove the seasoning and dip the marinated octopus in dry flour

8. Put them in a cast iron pot and fry them one by one

9. When you see the hairtail is golden on both sides, you can serve it on a plate.

Tips:

I use flax oil, so the finished product is yellowish in color. I put a little more salt in it, so that it won't taste salty after frying, and I don't like to eat flax oil for other deep frying.
