Suddenly found toon buds are ready to eat. Buy two back in the morning market. Toon’s favorite way to eat is fried toon fish. To deep-fry crispy toon fish, add some starch and egg to the batter. Recently, I like to use Korean-style pancake powder. Not only does it save trouble, it doesn’t need to be seasoned, it already has a salty taste inside, and it is crispy and delicious when fried.

Fried Toon Fish

1. Wash the toon, and cut off the old root.

2. Boil it in boiling water until the color turns dark green and remove it.

3. Squeeze out the water after passing cold water.

4. Add flour and water to make a paste, then add an egg, and mix into a slightly thick batter.

5. Toon buds are hung with paste.

6. Deep fried into golden brown.

Tips:

Toon must be blanched first, which is not only healthier but also softer.
