Gingerbread Cottage
1.
Weigh out the required gingerbread mix, honey and eggs and put them in a basin
2.
Knead the premix into a dough (it is best to wear gloves, because the dough is very sticky), then cover with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half a day
3.
After the refrigerated dough is taken out, use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin and even dough sheet
4.
Cut out various parts according to the required size of the gingerbread house and place them on the baking tray
5.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put in the cut biscuits, and bake for 15 minutes
6.
Mix the egg whites with powdered sugar, beat them with a whisk, and glue them to decorate the hut
7.
First glue the hut to the base, then glue the roof
8.
Finally, use pigments mixed with protein to form a colorful frosting, paint beautiful patterns on the cabin, and decorate small ornaments to complete
9.
Tips:
1. The freshly made gingerbread dough is very sticky, it will be better after putting it in the refrigerator, you can also sprinkle some dry powder to prevent sticking;
2. The frosting used when bonding the hut should be thicker, and a small amount of egg white can be added to the decoration to make it thinner.
