Handmade Nougat

Prepare 90g of peeled and roasted cooked peanuts, a bag of white marshmallows, 80g milk powder, 25g butter, and cut the sugar paper into the required size and shape.

Put the butter in a pot and melt it on a small fire.

Pour a bag of 80g marshmallows, stir gently on low heat, and slowly blend with the butter.

After melting evenly, pour in the milk powder and quickly stir evenly.

Quickly add peanuts (put the peanuts in a plastic bag and press a few times with a rolling pin to form large pieces) and stir evenly.

Take out the raw nougat and spread it with two pieces of greased paper. Use a rolling pin to flatten it, and push it back into the week as neatly as possible.

Cut the dried nougat into even strips.

Then cut it into a shape that fits in the sugar paper (I added a small handful of dried cranberries).

Finished nougat wrapped in sugar paper.
