Hawthorn Candied Haws

Hawthorn cleaned

Use a fruit knife to go to the upper and lower ends

Use a chopstick to enter from the root and push out the seeds inside

De-cored

Skewered with bamboo sticks

Apply a small amount of cooked oil to the baking tray in advance

Put the right amount of sugar in the water

Keep stirring

Boil the sugar until it is golden brown. You can quickly put the candied haws into the sugar by drawing the silk to make the sugar evenly sticky (I do it alone, so I can’t take pictures)

Put the sugar in the baking tray and let cool
